This topic has been created as a pinned topic to which any of our contributors can post information about new Activity Generator templates that have been posted to the site, or fixes/updates to current templates. If you wish you can choose to "Track this topic", and if you turn on e-mail notification, you will be notified by email whenever a new template has been posted or a fix to an existing template has been posted.
To announce a new template that has been posted, or a template fix, just reply to this topic. Please don't use this topic to discuss templates you are working on or plan to release etc. -- just discuss those anywhere in the templates forum. The idea is our users can be kept up to date when new templates or template fixes are posted without having to check back on this site daily. Enjoy! Your host, Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

Norm Beveridge has just created a template for Paul Charland’s Fonda, Johnstown & Gloversville route. This template requires many downloads (all freeware), and a rolling stock list is included. This is a wonderful switching shortline set in the ‘50’s! Get it on our templates page, or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/FJGTemplate.zip
Thanks Norm! --Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

Norm inadvertantly left one rolling stock item off of his "Required Rolling Stock" list for his Allegheny template, and we have now reposted the template with the fix. You can download the full new template, with the correction, off our templates page, or get it at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...p;OTemplate.zip
OR, just get the updated rolling stock list: Allegheny_B_O_Rollingstock.txt ( 166.04K ) Number of downloads: 920 Happy Trainsimming! --Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

Denis Gionet, the author of the Quebec-Charelvoix Template, has issued an important update to that template. Dennis says:
QUOTE During use of AG, I have noticed some of the activities could not be generated by AG. This was probably because the regions were not geographically set in an orderly manner(screenshot included of the message). I have decided to have a better representation of the region, more detailed and in sequential geographical order. Changes to the TDB and the PRO files were made and will greatly improve the use of the templates. I guess experience gathered since last year has helped finding the problem. It took some time to find out the culprit. You can download the updated template on our Templates page, or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/QCTemplate.zip Thanks Denis for bringing us this update! --Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

Denis Gionet has just created a template for the Utah Potash Route. The Potash route is 35.77 miles of undulating railway. It comes off the the Utah desert mainline at Brendel, UT (Crescent) , and follows US 191 south towards Moab (Potash). A few miles north of town, the line veers west through the 7050-foot Bootlegger Tunnel, where it continues about five more miles down the Colorado River canyon to Potash. The line runs on rather flat land until you get down past about MP 20 - that's where the scenery really starts to dwarf the train. Get this template on our Templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...%20Template.zip

Denis Gionet has just created, and we have posted, a template for the South African Western Province. What you say? We already have a template for that? Well, not really. The original template actually covered the "West Cape Route", and has been re-named accordingly.
Take a look at Denis' latest creation on our Templates page or download it directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...%20Template.zip Enjoy. Thanks Denis! Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

It is a combination of double and single track main lines. The Great Karoo is part of the 1000-mile Capetown-Pretoria lineGet it on our Templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...%20Template.zip
Thank you Denis for creating this! Cheers, Steve -------------------- Steve Davis
