Hi to all,

Following the release of the Allegheny Rails a few weeks ago, I had my eyes in making a template for this very interesting route but was delayed because of a request to build the Blackfoot 2 template. it is still to be released but waiting for the actual route to be released first before uploading the template.

Configuration of the B&O and the B&LE lines will make this template very interesting end very enjoyable to play. Challenge was that with so many sidings and having two companies to compete, I wanted to have as less downloads as possible to deliver. It took a while but selection of the stock will include passenger as well as freight from both rail lines. So the number of downloads, including the cab files will be kept to only 16. That includes the B&O Sharknose, the B&LE SD7 and SD9's, the E7's from B&O and the F9's from B&LE. Stock will include hoppers, gons, centerbeams, woodchip, boxcars, tankers, flat cars, cabooses as well as passenger cars from both lines. traffic is expected to be very present in both lines.

Markers have been put along the B&O line, which will be the smaller of the two templates, about 120 sidings. The B&LE is estimated to have close to the double in the number of sidings.

I will try to have some screenshots soon of the route as it progresses.

Denis:

I received this email from Peter Mulvey yesterday regarding a template for Alleghany Rails.....

"Craig: Thanks for a great map. I sent Steve the Template 2 hours ago. How is that for timing. I think you will agree this route needs a good map to find your way around. Thanks again, Pete"

Following news from Craig Kawahara that the template has been already been worked by Pete Mulvey, I will then wait for Pete's template and enjoy this route as it gets released later.

Thanks for the info Craig!

Denis: The version of Allegheny Rail I sent to Steve is a modern version of NS. Norm is going to make a vintage version as soon as he completes what he is working on now. Download Craig's map, It's great. Pete
