Using SLG v 3.1.1 and the NJC_LVRR template I get several data base errors trying to load the generated activity. It seems that MSTS is looking for two wagons which are in my trainset but that MSTS is looking for the incorrect file name (IE: CQ&Q Stockcar\cat_CBQ.wag) The actual wagon file name is cat_CBQ and contains the cat_CBQ wag file. I tried making a new folder with the name CQ&QStockcar and copying the contents of the cat_CBQ folder to it. No dice, same error. This would all be not important if I can find the loose consists in the switch list and change out the bad cars. I have CB, RR etc but can not edit loose consists with them. As SLG places loose consists on the sidings how can I edit them? Can I simply remove these two "bad" cars from my trainset and SLG will then not select them or does the template somehow decide what cars to select? The author states the consists can be edited but the only consist with the template is the player engines. I e-mailed the author of the template but have yet to receive a reply. Thanks, Dave |

Dave, I don't know much about this activity, it was contributed back in 2003 by a user named Jim Smith and I've never tested it. First I'd recommend using SwitchList Generator Classic not Activity Generator to generate activities for this one, since it is listed on the templates page under the "Switchlist Generator" heading. Second to fix the wagon problem you would need to use the same folder name the author used, AND the same wagon name. It's ok to have two copies of this wagon so if you're careful you can probably do this. Also I believe Joe Bandit told me you can use ConBuilder to edit Loose Consists, and with RouteRiter you can check all the consists (using the "Activities/Stock" page and then manually replace any that show up in red -- meaning you don't have them.) I hope this helps. Cheers, Steve -------------------- Steve Davis
