When attempting to change locomotives the changes appear to take place, but do not actually change, since when reloading the activity, the original engines are still there. I reinstalled the updated AM with the same results. |

I'm not sure I understand, this is a repost of an original message. Are you saying you followed our advice but are still having this problem? If so do you have multiple installs of MSTS or "mini-routes"? In that case it is possible that you might be changing the locomotives or other rolling stock in the activity in one folder or "instance" of MSTS but not changing it in the one you're actually running (we've seen this happen before). To check for this here's what you can do. Change an activity (make sure you've said "Ok - replace" both times as advised until you're back at the main screen). When you open that activity make a note of the file name. Next after finishing, click on "Start" then "Search" then "All files and folders". Type in the full filename you just opened. Be sure to search all your hard drives. When the search is complete you should see only one listing for this file since there is only one .act file in MSTS for each activity. If you see more than one listed, one of these will have a date/time ago just moments ago when you ran Activity Generator. That's the one that changed. Note the folder name in front of the file name -- that's WHERE it was changed. Note the folder names of any other copies of the same file. One of those may be the one you're actually running. So when "browsing" to select the activity to operate on, make sure you go up as high as you need to in the file tree (maybe even all the way to C:\ or the root of your drive) so you can pick the file from out of the proper folder/copy of MSTS. Finally have you viewed our video tutorials for ActivityMaster? They can be very helpful. Thanks, Steve -------------------- Steve Davis
