I did a search but could not find out how to delete unwanted templates so they no longer show in Activity Generator. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Al

I'm thinking you mean the templates listed in the Drop Down list. All those entries are in the SLG.ini file. You could do this one of two ways. You can edit the ini file to remove all of the template names below the line regarding Shapeviewer and resave the file using notepad. I've had this work most times. You could also delete the ini file, which would remove all template names. If that is done, you would have to redefine the Shapeviewer location, if you do use Shapeviewer.

That's correct. Or if you actually want to delete the templates (I'm not sure why you would), then, delete the .act and .csv files with the same name as the template.

Thanks,

Steve

If the user actually wants to delete ALL template files, this would include .con, .svc, .pro, .pat, and .tfc files, some of which may not be named exactly like the template. Also, related files such as all the files generated by the template when creating activities may be hard to find for the casual user if the standard SLG-XXX naming convention is not used.
