Hello to all,
Lukas Lusser and his contributors have released today the above route, which is actually the RMD-1 and RMD-2 combined and updated, that is from Harlowton to Deer Lodge. He has also released railstock to go along with the route. I am downloading the route as I write to find out if it is suitable for a template. I believe it will be, since the latest route of the Milwaukee series, the RMD-1 had the sidings marked. Work is also done on the rest of the route from Deer Lodge to Avery in the future. Not sure when but will be interesting to follow its progress which can be seen inthe TS forum. Will update later for the results of the present download. -------------------- Denis Gionet

Hello,
Moe has given me the permission to proceed with the template and I thank him for the privilege. I am currently gathering the necessaary rolling stock. The Timeframe is expected to be around 1966. Why 1966? It was in December 1965 that the sd45 was introduced and the NP purchased 30 of these engines. They were the last diesel engines under NP before the merge with BN in the early 70's. In terms of diesel motive power, the only good looking NP engines available in MSTS I have found were in the Mophouse forum; the NP GP9's, used in the RMD-4 template and the ones that will be used in the current template the NP SD45's. Although use of the engines will require ownership of the MLT Cascades Crossing route and the SP heritage pack 1, I believe it is worth the effort to use these beauties from Dean Kurowski (Sceeters Paint Shop). An additional reason behind the timeframe: the BA&P's electrification was abandoned in 1967. Using the BA&P stock released in TS will be perfect for the task. I do not expect to use any diesel engines in the MILW, only electric motive power: Little Joes, EF1's and ES-2's, the latter one for yard work in Harlowton, Three Forks and Deer Lodge. Of course, the player will always have the option of changing the engines to his personal preferences, including MILW diesel power. Well, that's it so far and let's go on with the project and will update regularly its progress -------------------- Denis Gionet
