Steve, On my new ERIE template I have a path that starts in one yard "A" travels to another yard "B" by backing around a "Y" so the locos are facing foward back towards "A" the path starts and ends in yard "A". The path works with 2 reverse points. I can get AG to generate pickups and setouts for the yards and a powerplant that is along the way. What I can't get is to pick up at "A", set out at "B" pick up addtional work at "B" and return to "A". I have yard and industry tracks in both yards. Is there a way to "trick" the program to get this to work or am I asking too mutch? This is not a show stopper on releasing my new template as I have 4 paths that work and cover all the tracks with overlap. Thanks, Peter -------------------- Peter

Thanks, Peter I agree that's a problem with the current version of ActivityGenerator. The workaround for now is to end with the "AssembleTrain" function. Then, what you do is set the first yard (where you start) as "source" tracks and all the other tracks, including yard B, as "Industry" tracks. Then you'll have to assemble your train to end the activity, just go back to yard A and assemble your train, which will include all the pickups you've made along the way including those in yard B, and you will have your turn. The better solution is what I have planned for Activity Generator v4, which I probably won't get done until the summer. In that version there will be a third type of track (beyond "Source" and "Work") called "Destination". Tracks you call up as "Destination" will require setouts of any cars picked up along the way. This will work for turns and also for through trains so you'll have somewhere to set out the cars you've picked up along the way. Thanks! Steve -------------------- Steve Davis
