Hello to all,
As many of you know, the CP Mactier Sub was released last week in TS. The route also includes the entire Barrie-Collingwood (BCRY) short line between both cities. Only one engine is part of the BCRY roster, which is the BCRY 1001 GP9. Unfortunately, the engine was available nowhere among the MSTS downloads. Last Saturday, I have decided to try to create the GP9 for the BCRY. The newly BCRY 1001 has been successfully done and is now available in the Mophouse site as of today for download. Here it is: Also earlier this week, Ted Kocyla has enhanced the route with its texture upgrade. I wanted to finish the BCRY 1001 before going any further with plans to announce my intention to create a template. Now this and the texture upgrade are done, I am now ready to offer to create one for the route, if no one else has already started it. -------------------- Denis Gionet

Hello to all,
The YARDS Template is now finished and includes work inside the Vaughan yards area and between the Spence Yards and the Honda plant at Alliston. In the NB and SB templates, you will be able to start your act or end it in the Vaughan area but won't include the Honda and Spence areas since only yard work is done between both locations. The LOCALS will involve picking up or setting up cars in the Spence yards while the YARDS Template will involve both Honda and Spence locations. In the YARDS template, I have changed the player train from 3 SD40-2's to only two sd40-2's as two units will be enough for the yard work. The user may wish to change to three if needed. There will be some traffic in both areas. The traffic at the Vaughan area will be more a eye candy because work will remain inside the yards and will be a distance away from the mainline but those working at the Honda plant will be watching for oncoming traffic every 50 minutes along the mainline. Since there will be some back and forth between the plant and the Spence yard, thus crossing the mainline for about a mile, you will be checking the monitor for a red and an oncoming NB train a few kilometers South of the plant. I have tested a few short acts inside the Honda area so far, one of them done in one hour. Working the Honda area will be lots of fun and opportunities for the user. Ted had a great idea to mark the prep sidings. Here’s the pattern of work for the area. Four of the sidings (From Spence 5 to 8) will be used to bring empties (brought from Toronto) to the prep sidings, which will be brought later to the Honda plant sidings to be filled with cars. The filled cars in the Honda plant sidings will be picked up to be brought directly to the other 4 Spence yards sidings ( 1 to 4) where the LOCALS player train will bring them back to Toronto (Lambton area). The position of the markers and traffic’s orientation has been carefully selected to maximize its potential. Also the Spence Yards have been split in two regions to allow back and forth work. I will be starting to work the last template; the LOCALS and will be probably the most difficult of all as I will try to incorporate some return paths and traffic, that may me difficult to apply with MSTS limitations. Also I will look at the the regions as well. That will be seen as it progresses. Here are some images of the work around the Honda plant. Enjoy the images, will continue updating -------------------- Denis Gionet
