Monon-2 version 16 route, Template Options

Hello to all,

Prior to the route release this week-end, I have received a request to have a template made for the route.

I no one else steps forward, I am ready to take on a look at the route to consider making one.

It will be a massive enterprise with at least three Railroads to tackle with, the Monon, the MILW and the NYC. This one is expected to take a lot of time to complete.

Here are the first photos captured of this amazing route. Congratulations Rick for a well done job!

After two weeks of hard work on the project, I believe the templates are now finished on the Monon 16 route. In terms of the number of railroads involved, it includes the ATSF, CB&Q, IC, NYC, PRR, MILW and the Monon RR's. Each of the Monon six (6) fast Freight trains (numbered 56,57,70,71,90 & 91) and the ten (10) local trains ( 40 to 49 inclusively) have their own template. Other than these, there are gravel runs, coal runs, the French Lick run, local runs on the MILW, NYC, PRR, Yard work on six areas and, to finish, runs along the Chicago yards. Overall, the user will have twenty-six (26) templates to work with, most of them have customized traffic.

As mentioned the main downloads are three payware from Belanger/Zosatrains: Both Monon sets and the 1970 Northeast freight pack.There are 25 additional freeware downloads from Trainsim (23), Mophouse/MLT downloads (1) and the Columbus (CLW) locomotive works (1).

Now testing will start on all these templates. Benny has volunteered to help with this huge project. Thanks again Benny! If some of you wish to join with the testing, let me know.
