Hi to everyone,
I have been away for quite a while. Over 2 1/2 years ago I was hit by a nasty PC virus that just about ruined everything in my PC and external HD. At that time my son was dealing with heart and kidney failure and Train Sim seemed unimportant. He is now waiting for a heart and kidney transplant. I didn't know my 2014 PRR Template was no longer in the Template list. The PRR Template was the only thing I didn't lose because I had it stored on an online storage site. I also received a copy from Harlen in this forum. For those who are unfamiliar with PRR Eastern route it is the largest route ever made. It took 10 men 6 years to create. It has 4500 miles of track, 2400 sidings, 87 yards and covers 3 Divisions and 5 Railroads (PRR-B&O-CNJ-LV-RDG). I want to add to the Template Package with some new ideas I have come up with before I repost it. It now has 115 templates and I want to add 5 to 10 more. Right now it has very large files, Activities (.act, .Pro, .ctp, .cvs and .tdb)-576, Consists-171, Traffic-121, Paths-336 and Services-786. When ready I will send a screen shot and a link for downloading it. It will be a complete Mini-Route with everything except the Valley Pass Payware. You will need the PRR 1950 set, the PRR#3 set and the Troop set. |

Hi Christopher,
Thanks for the input. Much appreciated. I have applied the same % numbers as close as possible to the templates where it is applicable. As for the Glen Burnie template, Pete used the B&O RR to have one template made for this area. There is a Trains Magazine chart on the B&O network around the 50's, which I have used to establish the areas applicable for the B&O templates. Also looked at Pete's templates to make sure I don't drift away too much from Pete's allocated areas for each Railroad. Another issue regarding the 70-tonner. In the Baltimore highlands area, some areas have around 2.5% grades, which reminded me of the same issue encountered on the Springfield Terminal RR template done with the Conn River templates. There if I recall, the grades was around 4-5% in one area. I have to manually change the HP rating to have it pull at least 5 cars to/from Springfield. If I would use a 70-tonner, I believe the number of cars to be brought at/from Glen Burnie would be very limited. Let me know if any findings that would be useful for the project. Thanks -------------------- Denis Gionet
