Hello everyone, I finished running my first AG4 activity and I must say, it sure was a lot of fun. Many thanks go out to Steve Davis and Norm Beveridge for all there efforts and hard work. I am currently working on getting the 1950's version of the Alma template running. However, I seem to be having some trouble getting MSTS to recognize the SP Gon 92744 wag file. I have read the "Readme" file several times and thought I was doing what the author of this car said to do to enable different loads but MSTS keeps bringing up the following message no matter what. "Error reading train database file File: Trains\Trainset\SP_Gon_92744\SP_Gon_92744GRVL.wag" I have tried making separate folders with the different wag file in each folder for the different loads. Since the car comes with an MT wag file and a load wag file within the same folder, I have tried changing out the load wag file which read sp_g-50-11_parts_logs.s to sp_g-50-11_parts_grvl.s without success. Any ideas what this could be? Many thanks to all in advance for your assistance. runeight |

Hello AJ and thank you for your response. I downloaded this car from Elvas Tower website as instructed and the Readme file states in order to get the different loads i.e. lumber, gravel and logs, I need to go into the wag file for this car and edit the FreightAnim line to get the load I desire. This is done by editing the shape file name in the FreightAnim line to read one of the following. sp_g-50-11_parts_grvl.s -for gravel I have made a separate wag file for each load within the same folder and have even made a separate folder with the different wag files to reflect the different loads to no avail. I have not changed any of the folder or file names except to do as you suggested and MSTS is still giving me the same error message. What could I be doing wrong here? Am I understanding you correctly AJ as to what you are suggesting? Thanks again for your help. runeight |
