I've tried everything and followed all the directions for the update. I cant get anything to work. I've followed step by step with the users manual and always seem to end up with this error. I also noticed when I tried to update the crindy2 template to AG4 I still got the message that the template was another version. Now when I load the MSTS train editor I get an error saying error reading train database. for the consists. Oh and I've tried doing my own template with the LS&I but get the same error. Can someone help me with this? I have version 4.1.09

I have version 4.1.09 To convert a template involves a couple of steps, not just running the CSV file conversion routine but also creating a "Path Region Order" file. That file is what tells AG that this is an AG4 template, so until you've created that (using the "Set regions worked and order reached for paths" screen) the template will be treated as AG3. Until you've had some experience creating templates, my advice is NOT to try and convert the template, just run the current template with AG4. Being an AG3 template it will run fine under AG4. You just need to be aware of the order in which the regions are reached -- which you'd have to know anyway if you were going to create the Path Region Order file needed to make this an AG4 template.
