Aussie routes Options

Hi there Denis,
Wow! is all I can say. There are so many templates now for so many fantastic routes it's easy to travel the MSTS world from Denmark to Poland, Hungary, Russia to Italy then the UK on to Spain then the US, Canada and South Africa and good ol' Australia as well! I'm exhausted! Thanks again to you and all the others who have created these templates.
I have recently come back to Aust. routes, namely NSW Central West (Vers 1.6), NSW Southern Highlands and NSW Great Southern Main. There are a few activities around for each route but I was just wondering if you might be able to turn your Activity Template hand to the Southern Highlands or Great Southern Main route please?
I'm sure you are already working on a bazillion other routes so I appreciate your time in looking into the Aussie routes I have mentioned above.

Hi Damo,

Sorry for the delay to answer, I was sick for a couple of days.

I have checked all three routes, two I had already checked a while ago but couldn't remember the result.

The NSW Central West (Vers 1.6) and the NSW Great Southern Main have both many missing siding markers. However, I didn't know of the existence of the third route, the NSW Southern Highlands, being available in the Australian MSTS workshops forum. Registration is needed to download. So that's what I have done.

This one is OK with the marked sidings and is well praised by many for its superb quality. I am not surprised when being done under the hands of Chris Nelson and Brian Bere Streeter, two experts in route building. I have worked closely with Brian in early 2008 when I have created the Illawara2 template. With the Bernina, they are still among the most realistic templates ever made.

So I will try to have it among my future template projects. I have taken a break from template making for the time being, but continuing to monitor future route projects. I have been on a roll this summer with all these international route templates and have decided to slow down and enjoy some of my own templates. Russia's Perm II and New Zealand's Lower Hutt Valley routes are also on my target list and hope to make them reality one day.

Thanks for your very welcome reply. Sorry you weren't feeling well. Hope you are going ok now. Thanks for looking at all three routes (I feel a bit funny about asking for templates but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that this was the area to put in for template requests)
Mate, this is great news about the Southern Highlands route as I too reckon its exceptionally well done and not a huge route either. I have bought quite a few TeamAlco products that compliment this route as well so I'm looking forward to this one at some stage. I'm getting better at making my own activities but I figure as I have Activity Master and Activity Generator I like to make the most of them when I can.
Glad to hear you are actually getting to run some of your fine work.
