Hi to all,

I have finished the template, done some testing and has been sent to Steve for uploading. The Mura route has been found by luck while navigating through a forum topic, ended to the appropriate site and found to be an excellent route for a template. It has a little more than 55 sidings.

The Mura 2 route is a mostly single track, non-electrified and fictional Hungarian route which extends East-West from Martos (MP150) to Újbéres (MP199) and has a branch which goes North from Erdics (MP 178) to Bercsény (MP28). Although it is fictional, the scenery gives a good feeling of the Hungarian landscape which is characteristic to this East European country.

For those who are not very good with the Hungarian language, myself included, I have added a short Hungarian glossary in the readme file in regards to the used words in the builder's route (Jadro is his name). You will be highly recommended to print the AG-generated work order due to the presence of some sidings bearing the same name. I have added inside the TDB file the appropriate region for proper location. Downloads are limited to only four, included the route itself and some rolling stock packs which I like very much because it limits the number of downloads to use the templates.

I am including some shots of AG-generated activities. It should be available soon in the templates page. If you like some challenge in working AG activities in a different language and enjoying a different countryside, this one is for you.

Enjoy the scenery

Hi Denis,
This is great news about the Mura2 route. I have downloaded and run several Hungarian routes as well as some Romanian routes (Timisoara-Arad). Another superb Hungarian line on the same site as Mura 2 is Jaskiser-Nagybereg (now in ver 3). I really enjoy the high quality detail these route creators seem to capture. Would it be possible to look at a template for Jaskiser-Nagybereg as well please?
I also have various Indian Railway routes (Andhra Valley), Argentinian (Ferrocarril General Roca), Australian (VR North Main), French (Paris-Cherbourg) that I have run and templates for some of these would be a bonus. I'll have to check if the sidings are named in the various routes.
Thank you also for the Bernina Beta route template.
Cheers from a very appreciative Train simmer.

Hi Damo,

Glad you are enjoying the Bernina Template. The Mura Template is now available in the templates page. I already had downloaded and had tested the Jaskiser-Nagybereg route and had to make a choice between this one and the Mura 2. I have finally selected the Mura 2 as the first choice.

I will be happy to work for a template for the Jaskiser-Nagybereg route. Thanks for your additional selection of routes. I have been surfing in international "waters" trying to find some future candidates for a template. Have been testing some italian routes this week-end. I have downloaded last evening 3 of the routes suggested, they are the Paris-Cherbourg, General Roca and the Romanian Timisora-Arad. As for the Timisora-Arad, I have downloaded also the stock at the Train-sim.ro site. This one may become my next project after the Jaskiser-Nagybereg template. All look good for template making. Haven't been able to find the Andhra Valley. Where could I find it?

So some work to come ahead. Thanks again for your route suggestions, that will make my work selection easier.

Cheers

Hi Denis,
Thank you for your speedy reply. After i read my initial request I felt like a bit of a 'gimme pig'. Forgive me if it came across that way. Thanks for looking at the routes I suggested. I have quite a few other international routes downloaded that are differnet and quite good, alas they seem to come with few activities. Activity Generator and their associated Templates are just great for these routes.
The Andhra Valley route can be downloaded form Train-sim.com. I believe the file is called: andhra.zip. I know some peopel are keen on the Indian locos and rollingstock but they are improving and certian of the big routes have lots of traffic in some of the activities that have been created. I guess I like the Indian routes as I lived there for a time and apart from a lack of a sea of people at the platforms the routes give a fair impression of the country.
Thanks again for your time.
Cheers,
Damo
