Ed,

The problem is in the rolling stock, not the template. So let's see what we can do.

What software is giving the error? Is it AG? Are you using the latest version of AG? As the error message says, the Wagon parameter must be identical to the file name. Did ConBuilder find the same errors? I just checked these locos in my record set of the rolling stock, and no such error shows up. But this could be because I fixed errors after checking the rolling stock.

Well I've run the engines through Route Riter and ConBuilder, they show nothing. The error show up in Train Store if click yes to go on. then MSTS loads and
will crash on cannot read database. So it must in the .eng file, but have monkey with it, deleted it and reloaded so many times. I do not know what to look for in the .eng file.
There are two .eng files one with a $ or a # sign in front of the file name, what is that for?

Ed

Often a leading $ or # indicates a loco which is not player drivable.

I quit using TrainStore years ago due to issues like this. So I don't know how to fix it. BUT . . . We have numerous posts on this site about TrainStore issues, so do a search and see if the answer is here somewhere.

If it is just those three errors it should be pretty easy to fix. Just use WordPad to edit those files so for example the name in the file 'BLE_S2_291.eng' is listed as 'BLE_S2_291.ENG' NOT BLE-S2-291.ENG' (i.e. change those dashes to underscores).

Since it's just those three it shouldn't be that hard?

Thanks,

Steve

Hello,

I got it running, I took the time to learn how MSTS files worked. Now I'm able to fix most of them.
Also I learned to make mini routes, thanks to Route Riter.

So all in all it was a good learning experience.

Thanks for getting me started,

Ed
