Hi to all, The screenshot included comes from my first downloaded UK route, the Steyning. Here I am trying some switching in the explore mode with class 20 engines, which I found to be part of the rolling stock of the 60-70's. It is a small route, compared to other bigger and much longer routes. It was downloaded yesterday and am inquiring at the uktrainsim.com forum about the typical freight diesels and stock used in the 60's & 70's. The sidings (estimated to 60 +) are well marked and make the Steyning route an ideal candidate for my first UK route template. The route looks ideal for marshalling (switching, as we understand it in our terms) which goods include cement, produce, livestock, coal, agricultural, horses, bricks, etc.. However, it may take some time before I even put my first marker on the act file trying to gather important information on British freight. Like most of us, we don't know much about it and before starting, I would like to collect data that will help me conceive and build the template I hope to be able to overcome this first challenge of a UK route. More to come -------------------- Denis Gionet
