Well, the long awaited template for the long awaited version 1.5 of Richard Shirey's Lehigh & Hudson River route will not happen. BUT WAIT! That's not bad news because Richard is working on L&HR v. 2 instead of v. 1.5!!! Coming soon, to a file library near you, will be a template for L&HR v.2. -------------------- Norman

Some of you may have noticed that Richard Shirey has posted his L&HR 2 route to the t-s file library. So where's the activity template? It is finished, and I may send it to Steve later today for posting. But it will be with a caveat. Here is the situation. I completed the L&HR 2 template several weeks ago, thanks to receipt of the L&HR 2 route from Paul Precht. All seemed to be working well. As soon as I saw L&HR 2 in the t-s file library I downloaded it, and adjusted the template as needed. Then I updated the template for AG4 (YES!) since it is just about ready for release. Unfortunately, L&HR 2 seems to have some signal issues which did not occur in previous versions of the route. Consequently, I can release the template but only with the recommendation that all activities exclude traffic. Further, to use it you will need to update to the AG4 beta version. -------------------- Norman

I have passed the LHR2 template to Steve. He should post it any day now. Since he has released AG4, the beta is not required for use of this template. Richard Shirey has pointed out that the signaling issue is a known MSTS bug. As a consequence, I stand by my recommendation that activities be created excluding traffic. -------------------- Norman

I have passed this template to Steve to be posted. As a result of a suggestion by Steve, the AI traffic issues caused by the signals has cleared up. THANKS STEVE!

One of our users, Dick Ham, has reported that the following files are no longer available at the t-s file library. LHR420B.zip LHR420C.zip LHR420S.zip Does anyone know where else we might get them? If not, I will have to modify the LHR2 template in order to work around this issue.

I did a cursory check against the latest L&HR 2 patch, including generating activities and then starting them in MSTS, and it appears that the template is okay as is.
