Is there the chance that a template for the NS Atlanta and Macon (V.3) route will become available? It's a very detailed route with much potential.
Thanks very much.

We'll add it to the list, thanks for the request. Is this a freeware or a payware route? Where is it available? Thanks, Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

There is version 3 available at TS in the file library. It is listed as file NSATLV3.ZIP. Jim |

Unless there have been some very MAJOR changes to the route, no template is possible. Several months ago when I last looked at this route, not only were the track markers not spread on the industry and yard tracks, but probably 90% of the tracks were not even named. Can someone who has this version of the route please confirm? I truly hope that some major revision occurred that I am not aware of. Jim, I think you worked this issue for the freeware Cajon route, so you would be familiar with what is required. -------------------- Norman

I just downloaded the route this afternoon. My guess it's the same one you looked at Norman. Just opening the zip file, the latest date is January of 2007. The documentation so states the siding and platforms are not labeled. I'll take a look later tonight, but it doesn't sound as if it would be an easy candidate for a template. Yes, I did some of the work on freeware Cajon. Not a super difficult task, but one that is very time consuming. Jim |

I took a look at the file that I downloaded this afternoon. Norman, this file is the same one that you had looked at earlier this year. Siding markers and labels would have to be added to approximately 80% of the sidings before creating a template. Jim |

Thanks for the responses. I wasn't sure of what is required to make a template. But I thought I would give it a try.
