Steve, The following soulution may help with the sorting of regions when setting up templates. The other night I was editing a SWLTDB and was having trouble with the sorting of regions when I generated a switch list and printed it. So I went into my SWLTDB"""'.CSV table and added the reg number in front of the reg name. [N. Croxton was in reg 1 so I renamed it 1-N. Croxton] the next was [S. Croxton was in reg 2 changed to 2-S. Croxton] on down the line. I did this on the primary path keeping the the number order the same as the direction of travel. When I then went into AG and opened up the work screen all the regions were in desending order and they were also in desending order on the printed switch list. The limitations to this sort method would be 9 reg. if using numbers as a 11- would sort under the 1- if you went higher. You would could have upto 26 regions if using letters. Good idea! This will work great for a linear route. If, however, you have a route like NS Pokey with myriad branches and associated player paths, then no numbering system will set up an easy to understand order which will work in all cases. It would still be beneficial for the main line player paths, and also for paths which travel exclusively on a branch, i.e. no main to branch path, or vice versa. -------------------- Norman
