Norm Beveridge has just created a new version of his Sandpatch template, set in 1964. 1964 was chosen because C&O purchased B&O in 1963, and by 1964 many trains featured C&O and/or B&O power – a nice mix. Because of the release of the BLW/ZT C&O set, the template has some very nice period rolling stock. Three other payware downloads are required (BLW/ZT WM set, BLW/ZT B&O set, and MLT BOH set), although the B&O Heritage set from MLT might be included with the route in some cases. Several freeware downloads from the train-sim file library are also needed. Get the template on our templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...h64Template.zip

Thanks Norm!

Pete Mulvey has just created a template for Maple Leaf Tracks' Soldier Summit route. The Soldier Summit runs from Provo to Sunnyside Utah with the Utah Railroad branch from Martin yard to Mohrland. A total of 150 miles. Many thanks also to Norm Beveridge for help and testing. You can get the tempalte, and rolling stock needed to run it, on our downloads page, or directly (for the template) at: http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/SSTemplate.zip and (for the rolling stock pack) at: http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/SoldierRS.zip

Denis Gionet has created two new templates. Both are available on our Templates page, or used the direct links in this post.

One is for a Southern RR version of the Saluda route: http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...thern%20RR).zip, the other is for Italy's Siracusa-Modica route: http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...EstTemplate.zip

Thank you Denis for sharing these for us.

Denis Gionet has just created an update to his GEXR template. A new template has been added (GEXRLOCALS Template) to the previous package with two new paths to allow local work between London and Stratford as well between Stratford and London, both with return paths. It is based on similar ones introduced with the Jaskisér-Nagybereg and the Southern RR Saluda Templates earlier this year. You can get the update on our Templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/GEXRTemplate.zip

Enjoy!

Denis Gionet has created a template for the UK Looe Line, which has been posted today. Located in the Southwestern leg of Britain, the eight-mile Liskeard and Looe branch line is connected to the GWR main line at Liskeard in a connection between the two railways by means of a link of just over two miles in length climbing at 1 in 40 through 180 degrees. It shares the East Looe River valley and reaches South to the Cornish seaside town of Looe. You can get this on our Templates page, or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...%20Template.zip

Thanks Denis!
