Norman,
I just wanted to say thank you again for a great template. I just finished your Buttler to Branchton Turn. With 25 cars and I had work at all the towns, the template took just over 7hrs. I found that the 2 BLE SW1500s had enough horse power to work the route. Before you ask NO I did not do the 7hrs in one sitting. The only area to watch that is not related to the template is the turn out points at the Branchton "Y" have sticking points and once you push your train through the switch you have to clear the switch before you change direction. Peter Thanks for writing. I am glad to receive feed back that all is working well! Regarding the points at Branchton, unfortunately each route has something like this, and these sort of things make it difficult to design a template, as you can imagine. It is something that most of us have learned to work around in the MSTS world. Thanks for the heads up! -------------------- Norman

Norman,
Positive feed back is the word everyone has to hear. 75% of the postings are problems 'runtime error, no wag file, have to fix this etc, etc" Giving credit where credit is due is also has a place in the forum. To you, Steve and all the template designers keep up the good work. Peter -------------------- Peter

Peter I have just downloaded the update for this route. I will begin work soon to adapt the existing template to the new, updated route. -------------------- Norman

I have just downloaded the update for this route. I will begin work soon to adapt the existing template to the new, updated route. This is going to take a lot of effort, so I do not know when this template update might be available. I had hoped that this would require only minor modifications of the existing template. Unfortunatley, the existing templates are not compatible at all. In the meantime, if you want to use the updated route, do not try to use the existing template. -------------------- Norman

Well, the good news is that I found that many of the files which appeared to be incompatible were in fact just fine. Consequently, I have completed the additions and revisions necessary, and the new template has been passed to Steve. Look for it in a couple of days. -------------------- Norman
