I know you guys use Shape Viewer alot. I downloaded and installed it. I set the path in AG. When I click on any car or engine it brings up the viewer itself but does not bring the car/engine into the viewer, it just stays as a white blank screen. Anybody know what I am doing wrong? thanks...dave

Some of us have had this problem lately, and Steve plans to fix this in a future update. The workaround is this: when you get the blank screen, access the Shapeviewer menu to call up the image. This is an inconvenience at best.

Are you using the latest version of Shape Viewer, version 2.1? Paul updated Shape Viewer to open .wag and .eng files rather than just .s (shape) files. If you have the older version it can't open a .wag or .eng so you may get an error or a blank screen. You can get the latest version at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/sview21.zip

Please let me know what version you're using.

Thanks,

Steve

I will try and test that version if you can tell me where you got it. I'm having no trouble with the version I have. What version of Activity Generator are you using?

Thanks,

Steve

You are quite a bit behind on AG upgrades. You can always check our "Patches & Updates" page to see what the latest version is. Also you can subscribe to the "Activity Generator Updates" topic to be notified by email whenever a new update has been released.

I just today uploaded 4.2.11 which I believe will correct this issue. Please let me know if it does.

Thanks,

Steve

Thank You Steve for being so generous with your help. That is exactly what the issue was. Once I updated to the current version the Shape Viewer works fine...thanks again...dave
