Hi Norm - tried to generate act in Redding and it says there is no "TIE" car. What does tie mean as a car type, so I can change the TDB file?
Thanks Ted |

Thanks Ted I am very confused as to how you are getting this error. I checked the two '70's template activity files, and they do not call for car type TIE. The two '80's template activity files do have TIE as a car type, but these also have TIE cars designated in the SWLACT files, so you should not get this error. TIE is a car loaded with railroad track ties. In this case, the downloads include four center beams which are loaded with ties. I'll look at some other things today at lunch time to see if I can find the source of this error. Please advise which activity file is giving this error. -------------------- Norman

Given this, it sounds like it could be a Train-Store issue. If you store the rolling stock before generating the activity with AG, sometimes the rolling stock needed gets stored. If you do use TrainStore, try this: 1. Use UnstoreEverything! 2. Generate your activity. 3. Now store everyting but that activity or everyting but that route. This may correct your problem. Hi Norm - it was the Redding70SPI Template using Player SPI. There was no "TIE" car designated in the SWLACT.csv file. You had a bnflat designated as "L", so I changed it to a "TIE" and away we went. Act generated ok now Ted |

Act generated ok now Ted Ted, I am glad that you specified this specific template. I see what is happening now. Even though a TIE car is not called for in the SWLTDB, this car type is inadvertently included in the .ctp file which defines the car types to include for tracks labeled for "any" (A) car type. I will send an updated template file to Steve for posting. In the meantime, you can edit out the TIE car type from both '70's template .ctp files (not from the '80's files). Sorry for the inconvenience, and we greatly appreciate the feedback! -------------------- Norman
