Hi to all,

Just to confirm the PRR-2 part 1 template is now available in the templates page.

Again thanks to Benny for helping me with the testing.

Thanks again Steve for your assistance.

Will eventually resume work on the remaining part 2 project after a few projects including the SAlv3 template, currently on.

Enjoy the pack and will post later with new developments

Hello to all,

It has been more than three months since my last post. I have taken a step back from template working, following traffic issues in trying to start a new template between New York and Philadelphia. Earlier this week, I have resumed work on the PRR2 route. This time I have chosen a different region. The next template package will find work between both Baltimore's Bayview and Philadelphia's Penrose Yards, on the Eastern end,and both Harrisburg and Enola Yards, on the Western end. This time, the player train will be GG1's electrics. From the Bayview yard, the route will run through Perryville and turning North along the Susquehanna river to reach both WB destinations. From Penrose Yard, it will use a different route through Lancaster, reaching also both locations on the western end of the run. Markers have already been done and working in giving attributes to some remaining sidings. Regions have been set and a SLG generated activity have been created as a test run. Some traffic remains to be set to complete this section of the PRR2 route.

Here is the first picture of the WB mainline template at the Bayview yard starting point, with pickups along some of the yards. like the Columbia and Dillerville Yards, just to name a few along the route.

Around 150 serviceable sidings inside the package.

Those who had received a pre-release of the PRR part 2, I can send you now the entire template package done between Enola/Harrisburg and Altoona. The pre-release contained only three templates (EB,WB and LOCO) while the entire section contains 13 templates. Those wishing to receive the whole package can write to me at <photoman_57> <at> <hotmail> <dot> <ca>.

Just as a reminder, part 1 of the the template package includes all templates done for all the non-PRR railroads while part 2 will include only the Pennsylvania Railroad templates. Part one is already available in the templates page.

Will post later as it develops

Hi to all,

Here are some pictures from the latest work on the PRR. The WB mainline and locals are complete and is currently tested. Also started working on yard switching templates.

Hello to all,

Work has finally resumed on part two of the PRRv2 template package. I had to take a step back from the project, due to the complex, intense work and energy it takes. Also, some of the trackage areas not done yet make traffic patterns difficult to achieve, ending with stalls.

It has been a while since the WB mainline and local Templates have been achieved between the Bayview/Penrose Yards and the Enola/Harrisburg Yards. Work on the EB mainline and local runs had resumed and is now finished. That brings the total of templates to sixty-six (66), just 2 shy of the record of 68 templates for the Buffalo route template. The number of serviceable sidings has reached 600 for all templates.

Some sections have not been worked on yet: The section between Altoona and Pittsburgh, between NY and Philadelphia and between Baltimore and Washington for the PRR. Traffic patterns between the Penrose/Bayview Yards and Enola/Harrisburg Yards have been checked and looks good to have it released. Except for the traffic patterns, little testing have been done on other areas of the package but feel comfortable to have it made available to those wishing to have it, pending the official release, which will take a while. Let me know if issues, I will follow your requests and make corrections if found.

You can write me at the usual e-mail address ( see earlier posts) to request the updated template package. Simply unzip and overwrite the files to update the templates and add the new ones to your folders.

The next section on my list is not yet determined, will update as it advances

Thanks
