I was considering generating and posting an activity for this route to the t-s file library (publicity for AG4 and the template), until I discovered that the Nickel Plate website which hosts the loco files is no longer available. In place of those locos I could use either the DW U25B set, the GP9E's from the MLT SPH1 set, or the 3dTrains F7's. Any other suggestions for replacement power?

Hi Norm,
Thanks for the info. Have no idea if Nickelbeltrailmodels.com is permanently shut down or temporarily offline. In the meantime, you can use the following which would be excellent replacements in TS. The spalcors.zip file should do the trick. It is important to keep the engines short to handle the sharp curves in SDA and those will make it through. -------------------- Denis Gionet

Denis,
Which version of the route is your template for? V2? V2.1? V1? I ask because I noticed that your template has all the \ACTIVITIES etc. folders inside the \SDA1 folder. Since the template was posted in August I'm guessing it's for v 2.1. Thanks, Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

Usually the folder name must match the tdb, trk files of the route. The files inside the v2 zip package are SDA1.tdb, SDA!,trk, etc. The zip file of the v2 route package didn't include the route folder name. In such case the folder name must be the same than the track file names. I have tried once to change the folder name of another route, the Northwest line, in which case the folder name as well as the files were "fan03". I have encountered problems, can't recall what but had to return to the original folder name here the fan03. -------------------- Denis Gionet

You are correct in that you shouldn't change the folder names of routes, those names are referred to in various MSTS files related to the route. I must have named that folder for you if you didn't include it, and, I named it incorrectly. I will fix and repost. Thanks! Steve -------------------- Steve Davis

Hi to all, Here are some new developments with the missing files. nickelbeltrailmodels.com is back on service. However Jan Gettkant's freeware stock that was available via link is still empty as of now. I have found out today that the missing zip file (SP_SSW_ALCO_RS.zip) for the SDA template engines have been released today at Train-sim.com under the following name (see screenshot) I will be sending Steve an updated template file with the modifiied required rollingstock document -------------------- Denis Gionet
