Hello to all,
As many of you know, the CP Mactier Sub was released last week in TS. The route also includes the entire Barrie-Collingwood (BCRY) short line between both cities. Only one engine is part of the BCRY roster, which is the BCRY 1001 GP9. Unfortunately, the engine was available nowhere among the MSTS downloads. Last Saturday, I have decided to try to create the GP9 for the BCRY. The newly BCRY 1001 has been successfully done and is now available in the Mophouse site as of today for download. Here it is: Also earlier this week, Ted Kocyla has enhanced the route with its texture upgrade. I wanted to finish the BCRY 1001 before going any further with plans to announce my intention to create a template. Now this and the texture upgrade are done, I am now ready to offer to create one for the route, if no one else has already started it. -------------------- Denis Gionet

Hello again,
Had work to do in Barrie and had to service all the sidings available there. It took close to 2 hours and 45 minutes to succeed. If you want some challenging switching, this is the place to do it and expect some complex moves. You have to remember that the sidings at Bentoliner and Bemis are facing point sidings. It will be useful to have all your switching there back and forth to the Bayview runaround siding and leaving at the same time the cars to be picked up there later to allow a runaround at the Innisfill runaround siding and to work the Brentwood and Comet facilities. Had done 4 runarounds in the Bayview runaround siding, one (1) for the Innisfill area and a final one at Utopia to setout the cars to end the activity. Some pictures The first two inside Barrie approaching the areas to be worked The second runaround at Bayview beside the Bemis plant to prepare work at the GSE Bentoliner area. The first one had to to with setting two hoppers at Bemis and taking two others. That needed a first runaround. Once this done,GSE was next in line. Working the Bentoliner area The Comet plant Coming back to the Bemis siding where three cars were left there after the switching was done to allow work at Innisfill. Once picked up, it was time for the five-car load to highball to Utopia for the final setout. A CP Southbound manifest happened to pass during the final setout at Utopia. I will be asking a final report to the testers if it's a go for the release of the template. If so, expect to have it sent shortly after. Will confirm later -------------------- Denis Gionet
