Hi to all,
Following its release a few weeks ago, I have been working on a route template and is now finished and being tested: Details: South Africa’s Worcester-Mosselbay (Western Province 2) route is a 207-mile route which starts West at Worcester, going along the mountains North of the area and goes East to Voorbay (Hartenbos) and Mosselbay, port cities along the Ocean. The MSTS Western Province 2 route links two other MSTS existing routes. West of Worcester is the MSTS Western Province 1 route and East of Mosselbay is the MSTS Garden Route. The present route is a combination of mountain and flatlands and is also an area of twisting tracks and up-and-down hills. You will need a lot of braking and your engines will be often operating at full throttle to move along the route. Grades in some areas between Ashton and Riversdale are considered between class 2 and 1 gradient (3%+) The SA_Worcester_Mosselbay template package has 105+ serviceable sidings, 15 paths and includes about 20 AI traffic trains, freight and passenger. It has both EB and WB templates and uses class 35 diesel locomotives. Maps of the 25 regions have been included indicating the marker’s orientation to help in selecting tasks. The route takes about Eight (8) hours from one end to another, maximum speed along is 30-35 MPH in most parts of the route, some areas at 25MPH. Once tested, I will send it to Steve to upload, hopefully by the end of the week. Enjoy the following pictures included -------------------- Denis Gionet
