[attachment=81:WORKORDE...WB03TEST.zip]Generated an activity starting at Dortmund. Pickups are track 10 and 11. Last setout will be in W-Langerfeld.

After pickups on 10 and 11 I proceed out of the yard and run into a parked train in a covered shed. It seems to me that there is a problem with this activity. Attached are files associated with this activity.

Can someone please help with this problem?

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

The Wupper route has been uninstalled for a while but will re-install it and try to look into the issue. Will try to get back, hoping to find an answer.

Hi again David,

I may have found the answer but want to make sure with you. I have opened your ACT file and looked at it.

The image below shows at Dortmund (at bottom in PINK) the WB path for this activity. Just East of this area are located the BW Gleis 10 & 11 sidings you worked on.

At Dortmund, picking up cars at the BW Gleis 10 & 11 sidings requires the user to leave the WB path and venture outside the regular path to pick up the freight there. Leaving the regular path will require to turn manually the switches inside the area to exit and get back to your regular path. Here the only way to exit the area is by using the Dortmund BW Waschstrasse siding. The user must turn manually the switch and go beside one of the sidings just below, which seemed in direct line with the rail line when you left the area.

I am not sure if this is the answer but am giving a shot here. Let me know if there is something else I have missed here.

Thanks

Hi Denis:
Thanks for that info. After pickup on 10 and 11 I exited by proceeding ahead and threw the next two right hand switches which cleared me through. Shouldn't there be some indication that one must do that in order not to crash?

Thanks,

Hi David,

That is where the maps get pretty useful in locating serviceable sidings and moving around selected areas, evenmore with a large route like the Wupper 11

Hi Denis:
Thanks for that. I had no idea that the path I took originally to leave the yard area was blocked. So, looking at the map would not have been of any use.

Can you please tell me how to delete an activity generated by ACTIVITY GENERATOR?

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

I guess the best way for getting out is looking in the MSTS Activity Editor the specific area. Doing the maps were done to cover the area the best as possible, but as it does happen, it doesn't cover all one area.

As to your question, you can simply generate another activity with AG, which will overwrite the previous one it generated earlier. It can be also done manually. Delete all SLG-* generated activities located in the ACTIVITIES, SERVICES and CONSISTS folders.
