Hi to everyone,
I have been away for quite a while. Over 2 1/2 years ago I was hit by a nasty PC virus that just about ruined everything in my PC and external HD. At that time my son was dealing with heart and kidney failure and Train Sim seemed unimportant. He is now waiting for a heart and kidney transplant. I didn't know my 2014 PRR Template was no longer in the Template list. The PRR Template was the only thing I didn't lose because I had it stored on an online storage site. I also received a copy from Harlen in this forum. For those who are unfamiliar with PRR Eastern route it is the largest route ever made. It took 10 men 6 years to create. It has 4500 miles of track, 2400 sidings, 87 yards and covers 3 Divisions and 5 Railroads (PRR-B&O-CNJ-LV-RDG). I want to add to the Template Package with some new ideas I have come up with before I repost it. It now has 115 templates and I want to add 5 to 10 more. Right now it has very large files, Activities (.act, .Pro, .ctp, .cvs and .tdb)-576, Consists-171, Traffic-121, Paths-336 and Services-786. When ready I will send a screen shot and a link for downloading it. It will be a complete Mini-Route with everything except the Valley Pass Payware. You will need the PRR 1950 set, the PRR#3 set and the Troop set. |

Hello to all,
Work has finally resumed on part two of the PRRv2 template package. I had to take a step back from the project, due to the complex, intense work and energy it takes. Also, some of the trackage areas not done yet make traffic patterns difficult to achieve, ending with stalls. It has been a while since the WB mainline and local Templates have been achieved between the Bayview/Penrose Yards and the Enola/Harrisburg Yards. Work on the EB mainline and local runs had resumed and is now finished. That brings the total of templates to sixty-six (66), just 2 shy of the record of 68 templates for the Buffalo route template. The number of serviceable sidings has reached 600 for all templates. Some sections have not been worked on yet: The section between Altoona and Pittsburgh, between NY and Philadelphia and between Baltimore and Washington for the PRR. Traffic patterns between the Penrose/Bayview Yards and Enola/Harrisburg Yards have been checked and looks good to have it released. Except for the traffic patterns, little testing have been done on other areas of the package but feel comfortable to have it made available to those wishing to have it, pending the official release, which will take a while. Let me know if issues, I will follow your requests and make corrections if found. You can write me at the usual e-mail address ( see earlier posts) to request the updated template package. Simply unzip and overwrite the files to update the templates and add the new ones to your folders. The next section on my list is not yet determined, will update as it advances Thanks -------------------- Denis Gionet
