Hi everyone,
Finally, the Burton-Derby template is ready and has been sent to Steve for uploading It has been an exhausting and massive project and was very dedicated in finishing it. I am glad it is over and testing of many of the paths and the results seen gives me enough reason and confidence to upload the template now. With a route of such magnitude, it is still possible to find mistakes but this project was not an ordinary one. Frontiers have been crossed in template making, found MSTS limitations in the number of markers possible in a ACT file (around 750) and generated an update to AG4 to accomodate larger routes such as the BD. And we are opening doors to our British colleagues to enjoy AG and its templates like we have been enjoying for a few years now, hopefully more British route templates to come in the future. Also encouraging news: Craig Kawahara has accepted a new challenge and is preparing grounds to make a detailed map for this complex route. Thanks again Craig for undertaking such massive task. I will now focus my attention to the recently released Québec-Charlevoix route. -------------------- Denis Gionet

Looking for a few people who run this route and have time to interfere with their normal MSTS mode of operating.
The track diagram has been complete, first draft anyway. It is huge.....186, 8 1/2" x 11" pages as it stands right now. Since I cannot verify the accuracy of this first draft with any reasonable amount of time, I am asking if any of the Burton-Derby users might want to give me a helping hand in verifying the accuracy of the diagram. I will bust the diagram up into "reasonable" sections. I ask that you verify the accuracy, and add grade crossings and bridges where found. No pay. No glory. No fame or fortune. If interested....ckawahara@gmail.com. Craig |

As the last project for 2007, I have completed the track diagram for Burton-Derby. It is huge....162 8 1/2" x 11" pages of diagrams, 11 pages for the station and sidings index, a legends page, and lastly the cover page.
It will be uploaded today to UKTrainSim as well as to Train-Sim. The file is 1242 KB so I hope that will not be a problem with either sites...we shall see. Happy New Year to everyone here. Craig |

Craig Kawahara has just completed an extensive (175 PAGES!) map of this route. It is available at www.train-sim.com, on our Templates page, or get it directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/DB_Map.ZIP

I was wondering if anyone was using that monster of a map. I did not catch that error.
User l'ynnlee' has dropped me a note, saying that he has spotted a few errant items also. I'll incorporate the corrections when I get them, but in the mean time, I've attached the missing page 55. Craig
