Dvoukolejka route, template being worked Options

Hi to all,

I have started working about 10 days ago on the Dvoukolejka route, my first route from the Czech Republic. Detailed as well as with the previous template routes, it is a 200 km non-electrified route. It has about 100km of doubletrack mainline with about 75km of single trackage with sidings to allow meets along the single branch lines.The fictional line suggests the area would be located somewhere in South Moravia, known for fertile landscapes covered in vineyards,country of living folk traditions, friendly people, beautiful countryside and historical sights. During examination of the route, I have discovered that a 28km section of the route between Lopovice and Huhrice is actually a narrow gauge track, that is a 760mm gauge track, compared with the standard gauge track which I believe would be 1435mm wide.

The template package will have templates for both gauge tracks and the total number of downloads has been kept under 20, that is 19 downloads including cab and sound files for the player engines for both gauge tracks. Templates (EB and WB) for the narrow-gauge line are done and are being tested as well as the EB template for the standard gauge line. The WB will be started shortly. The cars used for the narrow gauge are actually standard gauge cars with their bogies still on being fitted with special bogies under them to allow running the narrow gauge tracks while having their standard gauge bogies on. These cars are therefore higher than their standard gauge counterparts. I have surfed for quite some time to find the appropriate stock , especially for the narrow gauge tracks and believe the stock package is a good one for the route.

The first set of shots are being taken from the narrow gauge templates AG acts and you will be able to see both gauge lines beside each other and the special fitted bogies under the cars.Both gauge lines run along Lopovice, Huhrice and Pikkov.Unfortunately,I have not been able to have meets along the narrow line but have added some animation as possible in both extremities and also at Pikkov, where both gauges lines run along.

The next post will show AG shots of generated activities from the standard gauge line.
