The UP Salina Sub template is coming along nicely. I have the WB template generating nice activities, including traffic, and will start the EB template next year.
Finding decent UP locos is an issue, and after much searching I have decided to use the Diesels West UP set, which includes SD50, SD40-2, SD40T-2, and C30-7 locos. As a bonus, the user also gets some patched GP40 locos as a DW "special addition". -------------------- Norman

Final testing is going well. This template should be complete next week. I understand that Basil will soon release an update. I have been working with Basil to ensure that the update is fully compatible with the activity enhancements that I added to the route. A preliminary look at UPSS-2 appears to work perfectly with the existing template. -------------------- Norman

By the time Norman has his template for Salina ready for use, I should have a set of maps for the same route and template with the hopes that the route update does not make the maps redundant. If there should be changes to the maps, I will carry out the changes necessary. If there are other routes without maps that you like to see maps for, I wll take a look to see if I can make some. I am just getting my feet wet, so to speak, so I may not be able to carry out the task of drawing the complicated ones but I will try. Moe Smith -------------------- Moe

Doesn't this affect the AG Template, and any previous activities generated? |

The update having been released by Basil, the route ID has changed in the TRK file to UPSS-2. Doesn't this affect the AG Template, and any previous activities generated? It does affect the template, and previous activities will not run on this new version of the route. I have one small change to make in the template files, that being to change the route ID to UPSS-2 in the template activity files. I might be able to get to it early next week. Until I get that done and Steve gets it posted, if anyone wants to run the UPSS-2 using the AG templates, simply go into the .act files and find the route ID line. Change it from UPSS to UPSS-2. BE SURE TO BACK UP THE FILE FIRST IN CASE YOU NEED TO REVERT. -------------------- Norman
