Hello to all,

As many of you know, the CP Mactier Sub was released last week in TS.

The route also includes the entire Barrie-Collingwood (BCRY) short line between both cities. Only one engine is part of the BCRY roster, which is the BCRY 1001 GP9. Unfortunately, the engine was available nowhere among the MSTS downloads. Last Saturday, I have decided to try to create the GP9 for the BCRY.

The newly BCRY 1001 has been successfully done and is now available in the Mophouse site as of today for download.

Here it is:

Also earlier this week, Ted Kocyla has enhanced the route with its texture upgrade.

I wanted to finish the BCRY 1001 before going any further with plans to announce my intention to create a template. Now this and the texture upgrade are done, I am now ready to offer to create one for the route, if no one else has already started it.

Well, I couldn't resist...It is so well done.

I have started the NB Template traffic pattern and expect the diamond at Lambton to be somewhat busy at start.

Among the downloads requirements will include one payware only but the most important of all: MLT's Rogers Pass (RP) route. All engines will be used for the route and have been seen in pictures throughout the Mactier Sub including CEFX AC4400CW's and SD90MAC's. Most of the stock will also be used. The only exceptions will be coal and sulfur gondolas. It is a perfect package for the route. There will be also Bernard's coupler updates for all the Rogers pass stock. There will be also about 10 extra downloads to complete the package, which includes some of the original stock recommended for activities when the original Mactier route was released. Hugh Reilly's CN's Dash 9 engines will be part of the route along the CN Weston sub and Halton Subs for rail traffic purposes.

Intermodal cars being an important aspect of the route, one of the downloads will be the DTTX_K_Line_HuskyStack_BEW.zip file available in the Mophouse site. This one which will add 42 different stack cars in addition to the about 12 stack cars only available in the Rogers Pass set. The advantage of using the set is it won't require an additional payware set to use them. They require the stack cars shape files from the RP set. It will take some extra time to prepare the set for use but it is worth the time and finally have more than 50 different stack cars available for the templates.
