Hello to all,
As many of you know, the CP Mactier Sub was released last week in TS. The route also includes the entire Barrie-Collingwood (BCRY) short line between both cities. Only one engine is part of the BCRY roster, which is the BCRY 1001 GP9. Unfortunately, the engine was available nowhere among the MSTS downloads. Last Saturday, I have decided to try to create the GP9 for the BCRY. The newly BCRY 1001 has been successfully done and is now available in the Mophouse site as of today for download. Here it is: Also earlier this week, Ted Kocyla has enhanced the route with its texture upgrade. I wanted to finish the BCRY 1001 before going any further with plans to announce my intention to create a template. Now this and the texture upgrade are done, I am now ready to offer to create one for the route, if no one else has already started it. -------------------- Denis Gionet

Have continued with the testing along the BCRY, this time West toward Collingwood. Following the testing, I have made some important changes to the serviceable sidings in Utopia. Initially there were only two sidings I have used: the #1 and 2. The problem here is the low capacity of cars both sidings can hold. Therefore, the Utopia #3 siding was added and re-oriented one of the original two to have all markers positioned on the North side of the sidings. Utopia 1 & 2 sidings will be the source tracks and Utopia #3 will be the final destination track.
Also when bringing hoppers to the Stayner Co-Op, it will be important to leave the hoppers to be set out there inside the siding beside the other ones, go directly to Collingwood with your tankers only to work the area, going back to Stayner and pickup the other hoppers back to Utopia. Otherwise, if you bring the Stayner hoppers to Collingwood, the number of cars may become too long and make your runaround impossible for the return trip. To help with this, the Stayner Co-Op siding car capacity (inside the TDB) has been reduced to half of its real capacity to allow the remaining space available to the cars to be setout there in addition to those already inside the siding. Also the marker for the siding has shifted to the other side to allow such operation. Some shots of the BCRY West to Collingwood: Will keep updating its progress -------------------- Denis Gionet
