The file required by the GS template, hrbn2hop.zip Is apparantly no longer available and has been replaced by, hr100tp1.zip

Just posting for information purposes.

I also have missing traffic paths from the template.....................

Path Name = aiholwin.pat Path is missing from GallupEB.act
Path Name = AIWB.pat Path is missing from GallupEB.act
Path Name = aigalbel.pat Path is missing from GallupWB.act
Path Name = AIEB.pat Path is missing from GallupWB.act

Sorry for being such a nuisance.

regards,
Mike.

These paths are part of the original route, and should be present after the route is loaded. They are not included in the template for this reason.

No good then Norman, for people like myself that strip out everything from route installs like activities, paths, consists etc.

Template needs to be complete and stand alone, i would say.

I appreciate your issue.

You may experience the same kind of trouble with other templates if you do this. It is not uncommon in a template to use consists and services which come with a route, in addition to paths. I'm not sure how many templates might be this way.

I get rid of all this extra stuff also, but knowing that it might be useful stuff I don't throw it away -- I simply put all the route's path files into a new folder called HIDE inside the PATHS folder, and do similar for activities, services and traffic. Consists I handle differently (it's a long story) but a HIDE folder would work there as well. That way, none of these files clutter up my work with the templates and AG activities, yet the files are readily available if needed.

No problem Norman, just my personal observations. I know myself from trying to create templates for the new Cambrian 2 route, how much hard slog goes into crreating them.

Mike.
