My best guess is no, it wouldn't work. Reading some of the info on the latest version, I noticed it mentioned track changes. In most cases this will leave the paths 'broken'. That will cause an error when loading the route.

Jim:

I have wrote to the authors about a template for this route. If you are going to do it let me know.

I am presently in the process of revising all my maps that were published for the Noth Coast 2 route. There are considerable changes to the track and industries in the new route release so the previous template would not work. The revised map package will be out soon for all to use.

As in the NC 2 route, NC 3 industries are heavy on logging and lumber. Unfortunately, most of the remaining industries in each town are simply called industry 1, industry 2, etc., etc. I do not know who is going to make the template, but perhaps he could approach the author to see if the industries could be renamed to "Joe Blow Canned Goods" or anything other than the way they are, even if they are renamed and the revisions were included just for us here at Skyline Computing. Perhaps the industries sould be left as is to give the template creator a free hand in placing whatever he wishes at the indusrty in question. Just my thoughts.

Pete,

I wasn't planning on starting a template due the limited time that I can alot for MSTS.

Moe,

As long as the sidings are named and have markers correctly spaced, it would be do-able. We can edit the siding names in the SWLTDB*.csv file to include the region, nearest town, mile marker or some other means to identify them. A name like 'Cannery Row - Industry 1', in the CSV file, would work.

I have wrote to Joe Smith about just that. I asked if buildings could be placed to make the industries look real. I also asked if station buildings could be placed.

There are no signals so a strick timetable would have to be made for the AI and the player train would have the responsibity of being out of the way.

There are three railroads involved and I am going to ask Rick Franzosa if after the PRR project that we are working on if he would be interested in doing a set for the NCR.

Pete;

I don't know how far the author is willing to go for us but one other thing could be helpful to our members. I have not yet seen all of them but so far all sidings are marked as sidings but all spurs are also marked as sidings. That could confuse members. Perhaps they could be renamed as spurs.
