Hi to all,
Earlier this fall, I have been able to learn to add names to unlabelled sidings. I have asked, in Early October, the creator of the GEXR route, Kenneth Shannon his permission to make an upgrade to the GEXR route, adding 18 new sidings to the route. The new sidings are located in Kitchener, Baden, St.Marys, Kellys and London areas. Last Friday, I have received permission to create an upgrade to the route, my very first upgrade of this kind. Well, it has been uploaded in the Mophouse site yesterday. This being done, an updated template package is being prepared and will bring the total of serviceable sidings to 59. Kitchener, which area was unavailable in the templates work, will have at least 5 sidings to have work on. Also Baden, between Petersburg and New Hamburg has now two sidings. A welcome change for those who enjoy working on the GEXR I am taking the opportunity to make an important change in terms of the player engines as well. The GEXR 3835 and 4019 engines, two of my full repaints earlier this year will become the player engines. Here's a shot of the engines in Kitchener Should be available soon. -------------------- Denis Gionet

Being able to set up the track names for a template can greatlly increase the play value of the activites generated. I am glad that (1) you have learned how to do it and (2) that the route author allowed the change. -------------------- Norman

Thanks Norm,
It is indeed great to be able to have done this ! It has been more than a year that I wished to have a new route update with additional sidings. My first attempt in to contact Kenneth was unsuccessful early in the year. With this done now, it will definitely widen the possibilities for the route with the updated template package. BTW, The new template files are now available in the templates site. Be sure to read all instructions as to the installations of the route files, stock and use of templates. Enjoy and Cheers! -------------------- Denis Gionet
