Issue: (8/13/06) ActivityMaster and SwitchList Generator don't recognize Engines or Rolling Stock from Jason Dilworth's StreamLines Corporation, such as that provided with the BNSF Scenic Sub (Stevens Pass Route). Fix: This has been fixed in ActivityMaster version 1.4, and Activity Generator version 3. If you employed the old recommended workaround found on this site, to copy all the SLI.ATSF etc. folders to SLI-ATSF or SLI_ATSF, you can now delete these extra folders and go back to using the default SLI. We recommend you do this, it works better with TrainStore, Conbuilder and other programs.
Have the new version 1.5.4. So if I wanted to do this, just delete the new SLI folders, and then do I have to open each new activity and re-run activitymaster to replace rolling stock? |

Here's how I see it -- If the activities were saved using the modified SLI folders, then those activities will contain the modified SLI folder names. Thus, you must either (1) leave the modified SLI folders in your TRAINSET folder or (2) first restore each activity to its original condition and then remodify the activity with AM using the standard SLI folders.

Have the new version 1.5.4. So if I wanted to do this, just delete the new SLI folders, and then do I have to open each new activity and re-run activitymaster to replace rolling stock? Correct. The procedure would be, delete (or move elsewhere) the old SLI-BNSF (for example) folders. Then run ActivityMaster to replace rolling stock not on your hard drive -- since those folders have been deleted the rolling stock will not be found. Then use "Specific List" to make sure that the same SLI rolling stock gets replaced with it's equivalent. Or you could just keep both folders (SLI-BNSF and SLI.BNSF), it might be easier. Either way works. Third option: if you have original versions of these activities that used the original folder names, i.e. "SLI.BNSF", then as Norm suggests just restore those using ActivityMaster's "restore activity" function if you used ActivityMaster to change it, or just re-installing the route or activities if they weren't modified using ActivityMaster.
