I was just wondering what happened to those two routes. It has been a long time sense their has been any more word on them. Did they become vaporware. Was looking forward to RMD west as east was a great route. Greg

Hi Greg,

I have been able to contact Teemu a few weeks back about the progress of the Buffalo route. Unfortunately, he has not been able to make a lot of progress as everyday life, like most of us, took his time away from the route. The route project is still alive but will have to be patient

As for the RMD_West route, I have no idea of its progress to finalize the route. maybe it would be a good idea to ask the question in the TS forum. Maybe Jerry Sullivan ( aka landandrailroader) may shed some light with the oncoming release of the route since both Jerry and Lukas are working close together with the MILW routes.

Hi Nick,

In Early February, I have received an update from Teemu for the Buffalo route. It is now at Beta 855. The update seems to be mainly scenery enhancements, very little in regards to track database changes, according to Craig Kawahara. I keep Craig up to date with the route to help him to keep the map system updated. I have replied to Teemu, trying to receive a possible release date of the route. Unfortunately, no reply from him.

Once it gets officially released, I intend to restart from scratch the entire template.

As for the RMD West route, the last mail I got from Lukas was in the Fall and no news from him after. This year, I have received news from Moe Smith and was told Lukas has been reached and has been testing Jerry Sullivan's Milwaukee's GAP route. I know the RMD_West question has been asked in the Train-Sim forum and seemed unreplied so far. I have asked last week Moe some questions including the one regarding the route since he has been involved with the RMD_West map system. Myself have received the route from Lukas to make the oncoming template. The templates are mostly done and will require some verification once the official version gets released. I don't expect much changes. Unfortunately, Moe's reply didn't shed some light on the route.

So, we are still waiting, but eventually, I am confident they will get released and will be enjoying some great work from both Teemu and Lukas.
