Hello everyone,

Nearly two years ago was released the Seaboard Air Line Template on the upgraded route done by Carey Stevens. Carey mentioned at the time that he expected to continue working on the route with upgrades and extensions.

Last week, I have decided to contact him to inquire about the progress of the next upgrade. I have received some good news from Carey about the upgrade.

He has extended the SAL tracks to Ocala and working on the completion of the ACL scenery from Bradenton to Tampa. ACL scenery is completed from Bradenton to Ruskin (about halfway between Bradenton and Tampa). For Carey, He has completely redesigned the ACL from Tampa Union Station to Utica Yard and even extended the ACL trackage to Plant City where it crosses the SAL mainline.

So that's it for the time being. A lot of work is still ahead for Carey and release of the route is not for tomorrow. Progression is slow but advances. However Carey is glad to know interest for the route is still alive. That next upgrade will certainly make happy those who are fans of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad.
