Hi to all,
I have taken a look at this new route available today at TS. Not that many sidings inside the route (about 20-30) but are well marked and would be an interesting candidate for my first template with AG4. It is a very scenic route. It has multiple branches too. You can see some screenshots of the route at MLT downloads com. For you scenic route lovers, I believe this is one route for you to download. I have yet to explore and discover other areas of the route.

So then, are you going to do an AG4 template?

Hi Norm
If it's OK with you, I will be starting a new template with AG4. My first test with the new version. Anxious to get it going!
Thanks for the green light

Hi to all,
I was surprised to discover that the WAG route released on Monday was removed today from the TS.com library. I am trying to find the reason behind the withdrawal. I hope it is only temporary.
I have already started working on a template for the route and will continue to work on it, hoping to see it reappear at TS.
Let me know of any issues concerning the route, it will be appreciated.

Hi to all,
Here's some update about the WAG route. I was able to get in touch with the creator of the route, Paul Raynes. The route is expected to be reloaded at TS. Good news.
About the template, it is now finished and is in the testing phase. Five paths are included in the WAG template. Although the route itself has only 25 marked sidings , which is small by standards, running the template will be everything but boring.
Material used will be exclusively WAG, not even MSTS default in order to keep the length of the rolling stock short because of the mountainous aspect of the route which has lots of sharp twists and turns. The main player engines are F7's and are a beauty to see on the line. I did have some coupler problems to deal with at the Wellsville area and was able to set the path and had to remove one (and was the only) non-WAG rolling stock to resolve the issue
The Wellsville branch has within its limits a grade of 2.85%. I have yet to find the exact area where it is. The route has no signaling, neither has mileposts. AI trains ( lots of it) will be present along the route. Precise timing have been set for all of them There are many crossovers with the NYC and C&FP Railroads. Since there is no signaling inside the route, engineers will have to be very vigilant at these crossovers and check for AI trains before proceeding ahead. No boring task here in the Wellsville, Addison and Galeton rail line.
Check for the re-uploading of the route at TS this week-end or later in the next few days. I am continuing the testing of the route, have to work on the docs and hope to send it within the next week. I am starting my vacation today and expected to stay around thus able to finish the testing more quickly and sending to Steve for his approval before uploading.

Denis,
When the route is reposted, be sure to test your template against the new files. You might find certain things have changed which will force a revision of your template, in particular paths and car placement.

Hi Norm,
Thanks for the suggestion. He had retested the route following some complaints but found nothing out of the ordinary or wrong to justify changes. I will however upload it again in case some changes are made(after our conversation) to some files as suggested.

Hi to all,
I checked the route file and found no changes in its content. Apparently, the route was on the library but made unavailable during the time Paul checked the route.
I was able to test all regions of the route where pickups and setouts are being done and found no problems.
Will start on some documentation and hope to send what will be my first AG4 template to you soon Steve, maybe within the next few days.
