Norman,
Thank you for the back dated "B&O" AG file for the Allegheny route. I was in the process of back dating the Modern "NS" template version and scrapped all the files I had started when I saw your template why re-invent the wheel. Many of your car selections were the ones I was going to use in my version, its a "small world" or good taste in railroad equiptment?

One item that was missing from your WAG list was "llwhop12.zip" this file has the SOU, RFM & NW 3 bay hoppers.

One question did you have any problems getting the bulkhead flats to load into the program? When I run AM they come up as not on the drive, I have all the files un-stored and all the relevent files are in the car folder.

Have a good day

Peter,

Thanks for pointing out the missing car file. I will update the template documentation and ask Steve to post the revision.

I did not have any trouble with the bulkhead flats. It doesn't make sense to me that AM would not see them. Does CB see them? Maybe this belongs in a separate topic under the AM heading?

Norman,
Last night I was able to get the files to work. I had to manualy add the cars and car type discription to the cartype csv file in the AG and AM folder directorys. This seemed to do the trick.

I'm now fighting with bounding box issues on the Auto Racks but thats another story.

The template works great it has a good mix of paths and the tracks fill well and the rolling stock looks great. I love the way the gons fill with all the different loads.

Thank you.

Peter,

Yes, unfortunately many older rail car files have bounding box issues. This template required the early open style racks, and this file is fairly old. I am glad that you like the template. I had a blast creating it. Following on to Pete's original work made it easy.

I think that Steve needs to know about the AM problems.

Norm/Peter,

I will install this template on my machine (it will be fun to run anyway!) and see what happens when I try and read the files with Activity Master.

Thanks,

Steve
