I'm having a real problem with this error message: Error: Couldn't find whatever in Car Summary array. Contact Skyline Computing support.

I have run into this message at least 3 times lately when I want to change out just the cars I don't have in a act.

The latest incident is with Norm's UPSalina act. and the car is rttx2_ICE53. I took this car out of the two templates, rolling stock file, and were used files, and the SWLACT files. and the A.M. still gives me this message and wouldn't change out the cars in this act. It's getting old changing one car at a time.

What's funny is this car is not even in this act! What's the problem. And where oh where do I find this Car Summary array.

PS. I'm using the latest A.M. and A.G.

That does sound frustrating. You can't change the car summary array, it is held internally in the program, it is developed as the program combs through the cars used in a given activity. It shouldn't happen, there may be something else amiss. Have you tried checking your rolling stock with ConBuilder and RouteRiter? Sometimes errors in rolling stock .wag or .eng files can cause an error like that.

When you say "Norm's UPSalina act" do you mean Norm's TEMPLATE, or some activity? I'd like to download that and try it myself so that I can try and duplicate this problem -- which I'll need to do in order to solve it.

Thanks and sorry about the problem,

Steve

This car was in the Salina template but AM only gave me this error message when I tried to change out some cars in Norm's Salina act. the car (rttx_ICE53) is not in his act but in the template and in the SWLACT file. Since I send this message I when and download another act from Mophouse for the Salina sub.

I used AM on this act to change out the cars I didn't have and it work fine. This act is called Salina Free.

Thanks. To investigate this error I want to use AM on the same activity you did. Where can I find Norm's Salina act? Train-sim.com?

Thanks,

Steve

I don't know about Train-sim. I got it at the Mophouse.

Is this car perhaps in an AI train? I don't have access to my MSTS right now, so I can't check this myself.
