Full Version: Failed signal

Hi Steve,

I am actually working on the Midland Valley template and everthing is going great so far. I would like to simulate a failed signal at Glennvlle where there is a junction with the Rock Island line and AI traffic is expected to be present along the RI. The scenario is simply for the player train to stop at the failed signal, making sure everything is clear. The AI train along the Rock Island line will be required to do the same, wait one minute, then proceed ahead.

I have generated an activity, but the failed signal at Glennville doesn't appear failed anymore. I can manage otherwise to enforce additional instructions to the player to stop there, but before, is there a way for AG to transfer a failed signal from the ACT file to the SLG ACT file?

Thanks for your help

Denis,

Regrettably, since AG actually generates activities, it basically creates a new activity each time and thus failed signals and other things set up in the Activity Editor don't carry through. I would suggest posting a basic "scripted" activity to simulate this, rather than an AG template. You could certainly include/distribute that activity with your template.

Thanks,

Steve
