Harry,
Maybe you're the same person who emailed me about this earlier? Anyway, this usually means that the template is calling for a car type but there is no car of that type in the .act file, i.e., an error in the template. Norm Beveridge is out of town on vacation with limited access to e-mail and he may not be able to respond. I don't have this route, but I will download it tonight. Since it's a rather large download I may not be able to check this out until tomorrow. Hopefully I can figure this out and fix the template.
In the meantime perhaps you could try a different path or set of spurs to work and see if that works. It could be that the missing car type is only in a certain spur or region.
Thanks,
Steve Davis
I have just verified that the template is not calling for a car type which is not present in the rolling stock list (i.e. I checked the SWLACT.csv vs. the SWLTDB.csv from the web site template).
Questions: Was the SWLACT.csv file modified in any way? Were all items of rolling stock loaded into the TRAINSET folder using the stock folder names as listed in the rolling stock needed file?
Hi Norm. I did substitute for a couple of cars in the consist files that I did not have. Would that "mess up" the process?
Harry,
As long as you did not change the car type, it should not matter. If, however, the car type was modified, then this could indeed cause an issue.
Please advise.
