hello, ive purchased activity generator but im not able to actually install it. i downloaded slg1-6 from link in email i recieved after purchase but when i unzip and run the setup.exe i get a error message saying it could not open file:(file path) SETUP.LST. when i click ok button i get a message says the setup.lst file could not be copied-setup cannot continue. however also when i unziped the SLG1-6 download i got a folder called "SwitchlistGenerator" in that folder are 2 icons for SwitchlistGenerator and SwitchlistGenerator V1. when i click on these icons i start the SwitchlistGenerator program and the activity generator program. their not installed on my computer, i guess there just running from the folder there in. is that the way its supposed to be? when i purchased activity master i was able to actually install it on my computer so it was in my program files. thanks for any help, tom.

Tom,

Either I had a faulty version posted when you downloaded this or you somehow got a bad download.  You are right, ActivityGenerator installs exactly the same way Activity Master installs, and you will get a listing in your program files, etc.

I just used "Add-Remove Programs" on my own machine and removed ActivityGenerator, downloaded from the latest link, and got a successful install.  So my advice is to use the same link, pull the file down again, unzip it (making sure all files including setup.lst are in the same folder where you unzipped) and then run setup.exe

Also if you need more help we have a video tutorial that takes you through all the steps of installing these programs on our Video Tutorials page.  But from what you're saying it sounds like you did everything correctly.

Please let us know if you get this installed ok!

Thanks and sorry,

Steve
