Greg,
I have run into the same problems. I found that in the Newark Pier area there are 2 consist on some of the piers "track" and when you generate a switch list the 2 grow towards each other and overlap giving you get an error.
If you go into activity editor and move the consists closer together then flip the direction on one of the consists so ther will grow away from each other it may help. I found you have to be careful on you number of cars to add to a siding on this route as it was made to work with the older switch list generator.
Another option is to give the SLG classic a try.
This is a fun part of the route and should be redone to AG3 to work correct.
hope this helps.
Peter
PS It looks like Norman answered the question before I could post mine but looks for the double consists it may help.

This is a template created for SLG Classic and it should be run using SLG classic to avoid problems. If you want to rework the template you certainly can. There is no reason that the template .act file wouldn't show up in MSTS Activity Editor or other utilities though, unless you have it stored using TrainStore or something.
Thanks,
Steve
Actually, yes, we will have an updated template for this part of the route. Peter Laier has been creating templates for various parts of NNJ route, some have been posted to the Templates page fairly recently.
I sure am puzzled as to why this template won't "show up" in your copy of the MSTS ActivityEditor, that part I just don't understand! It's just an activity .act file like any other.
Thanks,
Steve
