This topic has been created as a pinned topic to which any of our contributors can post information about new Activity Generator templates that have been posted to the site, or fixes/updates to current templates. If you wish you can choose to "Track this topic", and if you turn on e-mail notification, you will be notified by email whenever a new template has been posted or a fix to an existing template has been posted.

To announce a new template that has been posted, or a template fix, just reply to this topic.

Please don't use this topic to discuss templates you are working on or plan to release etc. -- just discuss those anywhere in the templates forum.

The idea is our users can be kept up to date when new templates or template fixes are posted without having to check back on this site daily.

Enjoy!

Your host,

There was a bad rolling stock file distributed with the GN HiLine template rolling stock package: gnsleeper.wag. The rolling package has been updated and fixed, however if you already downloaded this you don't have to download the whole thing again, I have posted this file to the site (as a .zip file) -- get it at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/gnsleeper.zip

Thanks,

Norm Beveridge has updated two of his great templates for AG4: Cumberland (Louisville and Nashville) and the Niagara Corridor (Dundas Sub). If you installed the earlier templates you'll want to delete the old paths. Norm has included instructions for doing this with each of the templates. Find these templates on our Templates page, or download directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/Cumberland4.zip for the Cumberland template and http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/DundasDist.zip for the Niagara Corridor template.

Pete Mulvey, with the assistance of Norm Beveridge, has created an up-to-date AG4 template for the freeware Full Bucket Line. Pete chose to model this as a UP line and there are some downloads required including one payware Diesels West locomotive. It's worth the purchase but if you don't want to buy it you can of course use ConBuilder or Activity Master to substitute something else. Download the template from our Templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/FBL3Template.zip

A new AG4 template for the CSX Tallahassee Sub has been posted. This template is a Seaboard Air Line (SAL) version. This route was SAL before it was absorbed into CSX. It requires the same rolling stock packs as required for our SAL Florida Div route template. We have these available for download in complete pack form: use SALRSPK1.zip and SALRSPK2.ZIP (warning: these are large files). See SAL Route Page for more information.

Get this new template on our templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...seeTemplate.zip

Thanks to Norm Beveridge for creating this template!

Enjoy,

Steve

Moe Smith has just created an AG4 template for the Milwaukee Road Rocky Mountain Division, version 2 (freeware available at www.train-sim.com). A nice change running the electrics of Milwaukee Road is in store for anyone using this template. There is a fair amount of switching for those inclined. This part of Montana is cattle country so expect a fair amount of cattle car pickups and setouts. Lots of AI traffic in either WB or EB. Get that template on our Templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/MilwaukeeRMD.zip

Thanks, Moe, for contributing this!

A new template has been created for Maple Leaf Tracks' "Michigan Iron Ore." This template is a first contribution from new user Eric Anderson. The LS&I is a short line, yet has six-axle units and a small segment of CTC. It hauls only iron ore, yet the trains can max out at 7000 tons. And it's just plain fun to run. Here's what you need: the MLT Michigan Iron Ore route (of course), Activity Generator 4, and the latest version of MSTS Bin (for cab switching, front coupler work and other enhancements). A handy tool to have is Rob Weststrate's LS&I maps, available at Train-sim.com - search for lsi_map.zip. Since no extra rolling stock downloads are needed, you can run these templates right out of the box, so to speak.

You can download this from our Templates page, or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/LSITemplate.zip

THANKS, Eric, for your contribution!

Enjoy,

Steve

Denis Gionet has created a new template for the Australian Adelaide Route. The Adelaide, Hills & South East route is located in Southern Australia, which is known as the driest state in the driest continent on the planet. This 1950's route covers the entire metropolitan area of Adelaide and a number of branch lines: over 600 miles of main line. It is considered an absolute masterpiece and is worth downloading and running. It can be downloaded as a single self-install file (350MB) or as separate files at the following link:

http://steam4me.railpage.org.au/trainsim/routes/sar_adlv2.html ://http://steam4me.railpage.org.au/tra...sar_adlv2.html

Denis has been able to test most areas and it looks OK. Although he feels confident the template is fit to be released as is, he has decided to release it as a Beta version to allow users to report any problems whatsoever for a while. Please report those in the forum.

You can download this template on our Templates page, or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/..._SETemplate.zip

Enjoy!

Norm Beveridge has updated his template for the Pittsburgh and West Virginia (PWV) route for AG4. Users should note that the new AG4 template uses the new NS rolling stock downloads, plus other downloads, and does NOT use the same rolling stock as the previous template. A list of download files is included in the documentation. The route folder name is the same as the previous template. Get the update on our templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/PWVAG4Template.zip

Thanks for pointing this out. I just checked and these aren't included. I have contacted the template author Jim Meindl to see if I should use the same consists as he used with his previous template for this route for AG3, or, if I need new consists. Once I find out I will re-post the template.

Thanks,

Denis Gionet has created a template for another great Australian route, the North Illawara 2. Located in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW), the 85 km (53 miles) route is a recreation of the Northern Illawarra Region line from Sydney to Wollongong with sections along the ocean as it existed in the 1950s-60s. Along the route are many collieries, located between Wollongong and Waterfall, making coal the main carrier along the route. The route also carries other goods as well. It includes part of Sydney, the Botany lines area as well as the Rozelle Bay wharf and the Darling Harbour where exchange of goods will keep you quite busy in your tasks.

You can get the template on our Templates page, or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...ra2Template.zip

Read about this route at http://steam4me.railpage.org.au/trainsim/routes/ni2.html

Thanks Denis!

Enjoy,

Denis Gionet has posted a major update to his template for the Australian freeware route, Illawara 2. Half of the rolling stock have been changed. Completely new paths and reduction in the number of sidings used to reflect the true realism in the early sixties. Approximately 50 sidings that were marked are not serviceable in true life. Many of the sidings were part of some privately-owned collieries which had their own locos to operate within their limits.

You can read more about this template and download it on our templates page, or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/...ra2Template.zip

Enjoy! Thanks Denis!

Norm Beveridge has just released a new AG4 template for Richard Shirey's Lehigh & Hudson River (L&HR) Route Version 3. The rolling stock is region and era specific, and is mostly that used in the previous LHR2X template. A rolling stock list is included. The new route is not compatible with older versions, nor is this template compatible with older versions. Any older route and template should be uninstalled prior to installation of this template.

Get the template on our templates page or directly at http://www.skylinecomputing.com/downloads/LHR3TEMPLATE.ZIP
